Armed Robbers Target Two Charlotte Circle Ks
Two armed robbers held up two Circle K's on E. Independence Boulevard over the weekend. CMPD is asking for help in finding them.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- A pair suspects are wanted in two armed robberies of Charlotte-area Circle K convenience stores, and Charlotte police are hoping the community can help locate them.
The two suspects -- both described as black males wearing black clothing -- first robbed the Circle K at 7208 E. Independence Boulevard at 11:48 p.m. July 29. About half an hour later, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, the two men robbed another Circle K further down the road, at 4921 E. Independence Boulevard. At both locations, the suspects showed a weapon, demanded property, then fled the scene once they obtained it.
CMPD asks that anyone with information about these cases call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
