Armed Robbery Suspect Cut Off Monitor, Now On The Run: CMPD
Ashton Lemus, 17, is wanted on numerous armed robbery-related charges. Here's his last known location, according to police.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help locating a 17-year-old suspect wanted on multiple armed-robbery related charges after he cut off his court-ordered electronic monitoring device Sunday.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Ashton Lemus, 17, was last known to be near 2650 Little Rock Road in Charlotte. He’s wanted for two counts of armed robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and possession of a stolen firearm. He now also faces additional charges of damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device, police said.
Lemus was ordered to wear the device as a condition for his pretrial release. He is described as 5-foot, 10-inches and weighing about 200 pounds.

CMPD said that anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3, call 911.
