Baby Found In Need Of Medical Help At Hotel Dies At Hospital
The one-year-old child was rushed from a Best Western hotel on Woodlawn Road to the hospital Tuesday morning, police said.
CHARLOTTE, NC — A death investigation is underway after a one-year-old child found in need of medical attention at a Charlotte hotel Tuesday morning died at an area hospital, according to police.
The July 30 incident occurred at the Best Western, located at 242 East Woodlawn Road shortly before 11 a.m., according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
“Detectives with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene and are currently canvassing the area and determining whether there are any additional witnesses to this incident,” CMPD said in a statement.

CMPD said that anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a homicide unit detective, or call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
