Ballard Designs Coming To Charlotte Nov. 17

Charlotte, N.C. (Nov. 10, 2017) - Ballard Designs, an Atlanta-based, leading home furnishings and décor retailer, will open its newest store in Charlotte on Nov. 17 in SouthPark Mall. This 11,000-sq. ft. store will join the 10 additional Ballard Designs retail locations, which include three outlet stores, operating in the eastern United States.

As Ballard Designs’ first retail store in North Carolina, this location will give Queen City residents a chance to experience the brand first-hand. The store aims to be an immersive experience by providing customers with a combination of inspiration and ideation. Seasonal vignettes seen on the pages on the longstanding catalog surround the Design Solutions workshop studio. Shoppers can browse the latest trends, discover new finds, explore the hundreds of swatch options in the studio or work directly with a Design Consultant on their space.

The Design Solutions experts will also offer free, easy-to-follow advice and design plans tailored specifically to each customer. The team will help customers with complimentary space planning, color and fabric selection and order placement.

Shoppers can expect an assortment refresh and new floor sets multiple times throughout the year. Additionally, this location will have an in-store personalization shop where customers can have various linens, gifts and accessories monogrammed for a custom design. Charlotte shoppers can also take advantage of the ship-to-store program by receiving complimentary shipping when placing an online order for an in-stock product and having it sent directly to the store for pick-up.

The Charlotte store will stock accessories and smaller décor items, such as lighting, side tables and rugs – ultimately giving customers a chance to take home a piece of Ballard Designs on the day of their visit.
