Bank Robbery Near UNCC Campus Prompts NinerAlert
A bank near the campus of UNCC was robbed Monday morning but university officials say they don't think the incident posed a threat.
CHARLOTTE, NC — The State Employees’ Credit Union located near the campus of University of North Carolina Charlotte was robbed Monday morning, prompting university officials to send out a “NinerAlert.”
“The State Employees’ Credit Union near campus was robbed at approx. 10:43 a.m. today,” the alert said. “Suspect was seen leaving area in green Honda Civic via WT HArris Blvd. Police do not believe there is a threat to campus.”
