Burglary Suspect Cut Off Electronic Monitor: CMPD
Police are searching for James Stuart Anderson, 23, who cut off his court-ordered electronic monitor Monday.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on numerous charges including first degree burglary after he cut off his court-ordered electronic monitor Monday.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, James Stuart Anderson, 23, was last known to be near 412 North Davidson Street in Charlotte when he removed the electronic monitor that was a condition for his pretrial release. He is described as 5-foot, 10-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.
In addition to first degree burglary, Anderson is also wanted for larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods. He is now also facing charges of damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

CMPD said anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3 or call 911.
