Kiddie Academy of Charlotte-Highlands will host Hero Play Day on Friday, Aug. 7 at 5 p.m. for infants to 12-year-olds. Families are invited to attend this free community event designed to help children recognize and celebrate their personal heroes.

Think you've got what it takes to outsmart the competition? Join Vaulted Oak Brewing for the 2nd Annual Human Battleship, a life-sized version of the classic game that's part strategy, part teamwork and all fun.
Players will be divided into teams of six and work together to strategically place themselves on the game board while trying to sink the opposing team. Come with a full team or arrive solo. We'll help create teams on event day.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning team, and there's also a prize for the best team name or uniforms, so feel free to get creative.

Send your friend your ticket confirmation. They will then be able to pick up your wristband.
🔵 Can I check in my entire group? YES
If you ordered for a group, you or anyone in your group can check everyone in at once and pick up the wristbands.
🔵 Can I check in after Check-In closes? NO
If you cannot make it to Check-in before it closes, please have one of your friends pick up your wristband early by forwarding your ticket.
🔵 Once checked in, can I join the Crawl late? YES
After you picked up your wristbands, feel free to join the Crawl later. However, all wristband privileges (eg. free welcome shots, covers and drink specials) are not valid after the event has officially finished.

Dole Food Company will host more than a month of free activities in its hometown of Charlotte leading up to International Pineapple Day on June 27 as part of the produce leader’s 125th Pineapple Crowning Anniversary marking its first 125 years in the pineapple business. 	 A highlight of the month is the kick-off of a uniquely interactive community treasure hunt that sparks local residents to find 125 hand-painted pineapple rocks hidden in and around the Charlotte area and participating Uptown Chalotte businesses including some that can be redeemed for DOLE® Pineapples, merchandise and other prizes. In honor of the holiday and Dole’s Uptown Charlotte U.S. headquarters, Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles has officially proclaimed June 27, 2026, as “Charlotte Pineapple Day.”	 	 Dole’s Quasquicentennial celebration honors the foresight of a 24-year-old James Drummond Dole who planted his first pineapple plants in Wahiawa, Hawaii, in 1901 to found the Hawaiian Pineapple Company, which later became Dole. As part of its "Sweet Surprise Pineapple Hunt," Dole team members are hiding 125 rocks hand-painted with pineapple-themed messages of positivity and inspiration in and around Uptown Charlotte.
