A group of Charlotte creatives, led by Glau Figueroa and Corri Smith, will host All Hallows’ Feed, a free community event bringing winter coats, pantry staples and family fun. Supplies are first come, first served, so families are encouraged to arrive early. Costumes are highly encouraged!
How can the community help?
- Donate food. Organizers are collecting non-perishable pantry staples such as ramen, fruit pouches, snacks, granola bars, and dehydrated foods (soups, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes) and individually packaged snacks. Donations can be dropped off at Black Wednesday on Wednesdays - Fridays between 10 am - 5 pm leading up to the event. For ease, people can also shop and ship items from our wish list: https://bit.ly/AllHallowsFeedWishList26
- Support our Fresh Food Fund. Send a venmo to @kndmedia to offer support for the fresh food fund, where we’ll shop for fresh items to be a part of our pantry.
- Volunteer on Oct. 31. Volunteers are needed for setup, to run the coat "shop," pantry tables, kids' activities, refreshments and cleanup. Apply to help here: https://bit.ly/AllHallowsFeedVolunteers26
