CHARLOTTE, NC —A vehicle flipped over and landed on a southwest Charlotte sidewalk Monday morning following an accident with a Charlotte school bus, according to a report.

Only one student was on the bus at the time and no injuries were reported, according to WSOC. Parents told the station that the car flipped over on its side onto a sidewalk after trying to pass a line of traffic near Tryon Street and McDowell Farms Drive.

The accident occurred as the North Carolina State Highway Patrol launches it’s “Operation Stop Arm,” a week-long traffic enforcement operation aimed at curtailing stop arm and other traffic violations around school zones.
