Carolina Panther’s Player Turns Himself In To Nashville Police For Uber Assault

Panther's tackle Michael Oher turned himself in to police in Nashville Tuesday following a fight with an Uber driver.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Carolina Panther’s tackle Michael Oher turned himself in to police Tuesday in Nashville, where he was booked for assaulting an Uber driver.

Oher was cited for misdemeanor assault for an April 14 altercation with the driver in downtown Nashville over a fare. Oher reported got out of the car to confront the driver, who then put his hands in the direction of the football player’s face, The Charlotte Observer reported. Oher then allegedly pushed the Uber driver to the ground and kicked him, the newspaper said.

Oher is due in court in Nashville June 6.
