Celebrate Valentine’s Day 2020 At Waffle House In North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — If you’re looking for somewhere to spend Valentine’s Day with your special someone this year, may we suggest celebrating your love with a side of smothered hash browns?

That’s right — Waffle House is now taking reservations for Valentine’s Day 2020. Diners can choose from nearly 200 locations in 21 states, offering lovers and friends a chance to have a romantic yet affordable dinner under the warm yellow light of the Waffle House sign.

This is the only day of the year that Waffle House accepts reservations. There are 24 locations in North Carolina participating in this year’s Valentine’s Day tradition:

Valentine’s Day at Waffle House reportedly started in 2008 at the company’s Johns Creek, Georgia, location. An influx of customers dined at this restaurant every Valentine's Day, so the manager decided to make the experience particularly special.

"Valentine's Day is about spending time with the one you love at a place you love," Waffle House Valentine's specialist Jessica Kinskey said in a news release. "And it's even better when you can do that without spending a lot of money."
