This Charlotte Burger Joint Named One Of The Best In The Country

See which Charlotte eatery made the list of the best burger joints in the country.

CHARLOTTE, NC β€” America has a long-running love affair with hamburgers, and a Charlotte burger joint was named to Thrillist’s list of the 31 best burger joints in America.

The Charlotte burger that Thrillist decided is one of the best in the country is the β€œall the way,” served at Brooks’ Sandwich Shop, located in NoDa. Thrillist’s national burger critic, Matt Lynch, went even further to say what you find on the bun at this restaurant that’s been open since 1973 is β€œthe finest burger in either Carolina.”

Says Lynch: β€œ The little red shack draws Carolinians of all stripes looking to experience arguably the finest burger in either Carolina, with a craggy char that immediately gives way juicy perfection. If you want to go β€˜all the way,’ your burger will come topped with mustard, raw onion, and a helping of their other specialty, a wonderfully smoky chili that intermingles magically with that aforementioned patty.”
