Charlotte Cold Snap Set To End By Weekend, But Rain Is Coming
Temperatures will reach the low 60s by Friday, but the weekend will be soggy, according to the National Weather Service.

CHARLOTTE, NC — The frigid temperatures of Wednesday’s morning commute will soon be just a frosty memory, as temperatures are expected to rise substantially by the week’s end, according to forecasters.
Here’s the National Weather Service’s weekend forecast:
Today (Nov. 28)
Sunny, with a high near 44. West northwest wind 7 to 9 mph.
Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 29. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Thursday (Nov. 29)
Sunny, with a high near 51. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. South southwest wind around 6 mph.
Friday (Nov. 30)
A 20 percent chance of rain after 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 61. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Friday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.
Saturday (Dec. 1)
Rain likely between 8am and 1pm, then showers likely after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 59. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Showers likely, mainly before 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 55. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Sunday (Dec. 2)
A 40 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 70.
