Charlotte Couple Admits Sex Trafficking Minors To Pay Bond

Zerrell Fuentes, along with his wife and mother, faced federal charges of prostituting minors to pay for his bond.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A Charlotte couple has pled guilty to federal charges of sex trafficking three minors in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in order to pay the bond for one of the defendants.

Zerrell Fuentes, 24, and Brianna Wright, 25, along with Fuentes' mother, Tanya Fuentes, 55, were indicted by a grand jury on the prostitution charges in April 2017

The crime was allegedly arranged by telephone by Zerrell Fuentes while he was in jail in order to raise money for his bond out of jail, according to reports. They were then transported to the beach town by Wright, who is Fuentes’ wife, and his mother, who paid for the hotel room, according to court documents, WLTX reported.
