Charlotte July Fourth 2017: What Is Open, Closed?
Here's a break down of what is open and closed on Fourth of July in the Charlotte region.

Most all Mecklenburg and Iredell County offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in observence of Independence Day, although some facilities will remain open or have modified hours.
Expect the following government offices and businesses to be closed Tuesday, July 4:
- All Federal offices and courts
- All state offices
- All Mecklenburg County offices
- All banks closed
- All post offices closed

Charlotte
- All libraries and city offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4.
- Trash collection will operate on the normal schedule.
- All park and recreation centers will be closed.
Huntersville

- The Town of Huntersville will be closed Tuesday, July 4.
- Trash collection will operate on the normal weekly schedule.
Cornelius
- The Town of Cornelius will be closed Tuesday, July 4.
Davidson
- The Town of Davidson will be closed Tuesday, July 4.
- Trash collection will operate on a one-day delay.
While some businesses and all government offices will be closed, the following outdoor and aquatic facilities will be open on July 4th:
- Mecklenburg County nature centers will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- The Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center will be open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; the Marion Diehl Pool will be open 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Ray’s Splash Planet will be open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- The Cordelia Outdoor Pool and Double Oaks Family Aquatic Center will be open noon - 7 p.m.
- Ramsey Creek Beach will be open 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Naomi Drenan and Grayson Skate Park will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
