Charlotte Lands Ranking On Rudest Cities List: Survey

When it comes to bad manners and not-so-friendly behavior, the Queen City apparently ranks among the worst cities, a survey said.

CHARLOTTE, NC β€” A new survey lists Charlotte as one of the "rudest" cities in the country. In October and November, "Business Insider" conducted a survey of more than 2,000 American adults, asking them to choose the five rudest cities in the US from a list of the 50 biggest cities.

Respondents overwhelmingly chose New York City as the rudest city in the country. It was rated rude by 34.3% of respondents, which was almost twice as much as the next highest city on the list. Los Angeles came in second place.

As for the Queen City, it took the No. 25 spot for "bad manners." According to the survey, 3.3 percent of respondents thought Charlotte had the rudest inhabitants.

As for the least "rudest" city? That honor apparently goes to Raleigh, NC.
