Charlotte Man On The Run Wanted On Weapons Charges
Jakieran Johnta Harris, who is wanted for stealing a gun, is now on the run, according to CMPD.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for a man they say is wanted for stealing a firearm and, now, cutting off his electronic monitoring device.
On June 11, Jakieran Johnta Harris, 21, cut off the device he was ordered to wear as a condition of pre-trial release, according to CMPD. He was last known to be in the area of the Travel Inn Hotel at 1201 W. Sugar Creek Road.
