CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte police attempting to arrest a man on outstanding warrants late Monday evening found themselves in an overnight standoff that prompted them to temporarily move local residents out of the neighborhood for their safety. The April 24 incident began around 10:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of St. Mark Street, and prompted the closure of St. Mark Street at Mitchell Street.
