Charlotte Police Searching For Burglary Suspect
Police are searching for a burglary suspect they say hit five businesses Monday. Have you seen him?

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Police in Charlotte are looking for a man they say broke into five local businesses Monday, May 8. In each of the cases, he broke glass windows and doors to enter the buildings, CMPD said.
Police described the suspect as a white male, between 28-35 years old, about 6-foot tall and a medium build. He was last wearing a dark jacket of a light hoodie and khaki pants. He wore a white scarf or t-shirt over his face, as well as one white glove and one black glove. He was driving a black sedan, believed to be a 2001-2006 Toyota make with a hubcap missing from the front left tire.

- Gardenia’s, 1019 Alleghany Street 5:36 a.m.
- Beauregard’s, 3030 Freedom Drive, 12:17 p.m.
- The Joy Mart, 2210 W Morehead Street at 7:30 a.m.
- Pinky’s Bar and Grille, 1600 W Morehead Street
