Charlotte’s St. Patrick's Day Parade: Everything You Need To Know
The parade begins at 11 a.m. Saturday in Uptown Charlotte and will feature floats, pipe bands and Irish dancers.
CHARLOTTE, NC — One of the Charlotte’s biggest annual parades — the St. Patrick's Day Parade — will happen Saturday in Uptown Charlotte, stepping off at 11 a.m.
This year marks the 23rd year of the parade and coincides with the 2019 Charlotte Goes Green Festival, which takes place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The festival will be located along South Tryon Street, between 1st and 2nd streets.
The parade begins at 12 p.m. at north Tryon Street and 9th Street and will travel south to 3rd Street, where it will then take a left down 3rd Street to Caldwell.

Parking will be prohibited on Tryon Street before and immediately after the parade, say organizers.

- Two Wells Fargo Center Parking Deck (entrance on Martin Luther King Jr. St between College and S. Tryon St.)
- Three Wells Fargo Center Parking Garage
- The Green Parking Garage — entrance on College Street
- Duke Energy Building (550 S. Tryon Street)
