Charlotte Week Ahead Weather: Hot, Chance Of Storms

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte will see chances of thunderstorms throughout the hot week, with high temperatures in the 80's and 90's. A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Monday, warning of potentially severe storms.

The hazardous weather outlook says scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop in the area, mainly in the afternoon and evening. The main threats, they say, are lightning and brief heavy downpours.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Light and variable wind. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
