This hot week will be peppered with storms throughout the area, potentially bringing heavy downpours in the early portion of the week.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte will see chances of thunderstorms throughout the hot week, with high temperatures in the 80's and 90's. A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Monday, warning of potentially severe storms.
The hazardous weather outlook says scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop in the area, mainly in the afternoon and evening. The main threats, they say, are lightning and brief heavy downpours.
