Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate to Local Foster Care Kids

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Denver recently raised nearly $1,000 to benefit local foster care children through Together We Rise’s Sweet Cases program. Students created 35 “Sweet Cases” by decorating duffel bags and filling them with personal items, including a teddy bear, coloring book, crayons, hygiene kit and blanket. Students donated the Sweet Cases to the Department of Social Services in Lincoln County which will go to benefit children in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping children in need in their community.
