Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate to Local Homeless Shelter

Students donated an assortment of items to help children in their community who are supported by The Salvation Army Center of Hope Shelter

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Mallard Creek Road in Charlotte recently collected items for The Salvation Army Center of Hope Shelter, which helps homeless and displaced families in the community. Throughout the month of June, students collected sunglasses, hats, lip balm, water bottles, sunscreen and other items to help children in need stay safe in the sun this summer. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping children in the community.
