Christmas 2017: 4 Free Holiday Day Meals In Charlotte

These Charlotte-are organizations are providing free meals to those in need in the community on Monday, Dec. 25.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Several Charlotte-area organizations will be providing a free holiday meal on Christmas Day Monday, Dec. 25.

  • St. Patrick Christmas Dinner -- This year, the Cathedral of Saint Patrick expects to serve or deliver more than 2,000 meals throughout the community. Christmas Day dinner is held from noon through 1:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 25. 1621 Dilworth Road East, Charlotte.
  • Urban Ministry Center-- Urban Ministry Center’s Soup Kitchen is open 365 days a year and feeds anyone in need of a hot lunch, regardless of a person’s circumstance. 945 North College Street, Charlotte
  • New Outreach Christian Center -- This church in west Charlotte is serving free breakfast Christmas morning, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 25, according to the Charlotte Observer. It is located at 3900 Gossett Avenue, Charlotte.
  • Charlotte Rescue Mission -- The mission will hold a midday Christmas Community Meal, 907 W. 1st Street, Charlotte., Monday, Dec. 25
