CMPD Arrests Four In Robberies Targeting Latinos
Police think the group of four may have been involved in a dozen robberies in the past two weeks, one of which ended with a victim shot.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department charged four men in connection with a "violent series of armed robberies targeting the Latino community," according to a Facebook post by the department.
Pedro Antonio Rivera-Chinchilla, Christian Jose Salmeron, Joshua Omar Salvado Jil and a 15-year-old juvenile were arrested Thursday.
Detectives think members of the group may be responsible for up to a dozen armed robberies in the past two weeks, one of which involved the victim being shot after resisting.
