Charlotte Police have canceled a Silver Alert for Mack Thomas, who went missing Tuesday morning, after he was found in Mint Hill.

UPDATE: Charlotte police canceled a Silver Alert for Mack Thomas early Wednesday morning after he was located by Mint Hill police.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mack Thomas, who went missing Tuesday after leaving home to run an errand.
CMPD issued the Silver Alert for Thomas, who is 78 and has been diagnosed with a cognitive issue, after he left his home at 2213 Turtle Point Road around 8 a.m. to drive to a drug store. He never arrived at the store and hasn’t returned home, CMPD said.

Thomas was driving a blue Dodge Caravan with North Carolina tag EAH-5964. He was last seen wearing suspenders, grey pants, and an unknown color shirt, according to CMPD.
