🌱 Crumbl Cookies Store Opening On Friday + Construction Site Death

"As sports fans still process the sudden hospitalization of Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin, medical professionals stressed the need for people to learn life-saving measures, from how to use an AED to learning CPR. CPR is short for "cardiopulmonary resuscitation", and it involves using chest compressions as part of a temporary measure to help someone until they can get to a hospital," WCNC reports. (WCNC.com)
  2. "Three workers died when scaffolding collapsed at a construction site in Charlotte, N.C., on Monday. The victims fell about 70 feet when the scaffolding — a temporary structure usually made from metal poles and wood planks used for access to buildings under construction — came apart," Yahoo Entertainment reports. "All United States and North Carolina flags will be lowered to half-staff at all state facilities until Wednesday at sunset in remembrance of former North Carolina House of Representative Walter Stine Isenhower. He was a native of Conover and served the state’s 45th district (including Catawba and Burke counties) from 1986 to 1992. ... Stine Isenhower died Saturday, Dec. 31," WBTV reports. (WBTV)
