Family Of Four Displaced After Fire At Charlotte Home
Firefighters battled a fire that broke out at a home in North Charlotte Wednesday night that has left a family of four displaced.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A family of four in is homeless after a fire broke out in their home North Charlotte home Wednesday evening, causing an estimated $75,000 in damage.
Firefighters arrived to a call in the 8300 block of Rego Street Sept. 13, finding heavy smoke and flames. The fire took 23 Charlotte firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the fire at 8332 Rego Street Sept. 13, according to Charlotte Fire Department.
No firefighters were injured, CFD said, adding that the fire now under investigation. The Charlotte Observer reported that according to CFD, there were “several explosions” reported at the time of the fire.
