Four Charged In Series Of Convenience Store Robberies In Charlotte

Charlotte police say these four suspects were involved three convenience store robberies in as many weeks in September.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- An arrest for a stolen vehicle last week led Charlotte police to solving a string of robbery cases and charging four men for involvement in a series of convenience store robberies in Charlotte last month.

Three of the four suspects were arrested Sept. 26 after a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer found the trio in a stolen vehicle on Majestic Meadow Drive in northwest Charlotte. During the course of investigation, evidence was found related to three recent convenience store robberies, CMPD said.

On Sept. 4 around midnight, a 7-Eleven store located at 12007 Sam Roper Drive was robbed. The Circle K at 507 Little Rock Road in Charlotte was robbed around 2:45 a.m. on Sept. 15, and the 7-Eleven at 10700 Reames Road was robbed around 1:15 a.m. on Sept. 21. In all three armed robberies, multiple suspects entered the businesses with weapons, demanded property and fled the scene, according to CMPD.
