Free Comic Book Day 2017: Charlotte’s Participating Stores

Shops throughout the Charlotte region are getting ready for Free Comic Book Day on May 6.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Calling all comic book fans and lovers of free stuff -- Free Comic Book Day 2017 is this weekend. On Saturday, May 6, stores across the Charlotte region and the U.S. will be taking part in the one-day giveaway meant to introduce newcomers to the art and hobby.

While every retailer signed up for the event may have its own rules about participation, those who visit a shop on the list will receive “at least one free comic” if they “enter a participating shop location,” the event’s website states. Titles may vary by location.
