Free Rabies Vaccinations This Saturday In Charlotte

Get free rabies vaccinations and $10 microchipping at this weekend's event at the Animal Control & Care Shelter.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control is holding a rabies vaccination and microchipping clinic Saturday, Nov. 11.

Rabies shots will be given to pets four months and older for free and microchipping will cost $10. Dogs must be on leashes and cats in carriers. The event will be held at the Shelter at 8315 Byrum Drive in Charlotte, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Everyone in line prior to 11 a.m. will be served.

Participants must be a Mecklenburg County resident in order to participate, and should bring identification with a current address or a utility bill with a current address.
