Freezing Temperatures Lead Into Veterans Day Weekend
Grab an extra sweater because temperatures will dip to near freezing levels leading into the weekend. Here's what you need to know.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Rain is expected to move on from the Charlotte-metro region by the start of the Veterans Day holiday weekend, but chilly temperatures will remain, according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday’s rain and gloomy skies are expected to clear out by Friday, which is expected to be sunny. Temperatures will continue to dip, with an expected low of 31 degrees Friday night and 33 degrees Saturday.
Highs over the weekend, which is expected to stay clear, will hover in the high 40s and low 50s.
