Homicide Detectives On Hunt For Driver Of This Car After Shooting

CMPD's homicide unit says the driver of this grey Honda Crosstour is considered a "person of interest" in an ongoing shooting investigation.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a what they believe to be a grey Honda Crosstour and say it’s driver is a person of interest in a midday shooting in the University area Monday.

According to police, a man was shot while traveling inside a vehicle in the 1000 block of West WT Harris Boulevard on Monday, June 4 around 11:20 a.m.

“As a result of being shot, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guardrail,” CMPD said. The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Charlotte investigators say the vehicle in the photos was last seen on Monday, June 4 around 11:20 a.m. driving east on WT Harris Boulevard.
