Homicide Probe Underway After 1 Killed In Gas Station Shooting
A man shot at an area gas station Thursday night has died, according to police, who say a homicide investigation is underway.
CHARLOTTE, NC — A homicide investigation is underway in Charlotte following an overnight shooting at a gas station that left one person dead.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the April 2 shooting occurred shortly before 10 p.m. at Citgo, located at 1126 Morningside Drive in Charlotte.
Officers responding to the scene found a male victim with gunshot wounds. The man, who has not yet been identified by authorities, was transported by medic to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
