How To Get Free Coffee At Circle K This Month

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte-based Circle K convenience stores are giving away free 12 ounce cups of coffee to customers this month as the store gears up to launch it’s new “Simply Great Coffee” line in October.

The new coffee line was developed with Concord, N.C.-based S&D Coffee, and will include lattes, cappuccinos and americanos made with freshly ground coffee beans and fresh milk. The coffee beverages will all cost less than $3.

“Americans’ coffee preferences are evolving to include more gourmet espresso-based drinks, especially among Millennial coffee drinkers,” said Mark Ostoits, Vice President of Circle K Southeast. The new line will ditch the “‘barista’ fuss” and serve up a cup of great tasting coffee in under a minute, he added.

Customers can claim their cup of coffee in the Charlotte starting this week at select branches that have set up temporary coffee lounges with couches, chairs and workstations.

The free coffee will be given away between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the following locations:

• 7040 N. Tryon St., Charlotte -- Sept. 11 through Sept. 16
• 18635 Old Statesville Road, Cornelius -- Sept. 11 through Sept. 16
• 7010 University City Boulevard, Charlotte -- Sept. 18 through Sept. 23
• 8855 Christenbury Parkway, Concord -- Sept. 18 through Sept. 23

Circle K is also providing free coffee through these events:

• Circle K Coffee Car: A Circle K-branded car will appear at Charlotte-area events brewing free cups of coffee Sept.29 through October 13.
• Stop In, Fill Up—For Free: Select stores will serve free 12-ounce cups of coffee from 6 to 8 a.m. the first two weeks of October. Customers can follow along on the Circle K Southeast Facebook page to learn which stores will offer free samples each day.
• Circle K Mobile App Offers: Throughout October, new users who download the app will earn a free Simply Great Coffee drink, and existing users can visit the Deals page to claim a coupon for a free coffee.
