ICYMI: Christmas Lights Shine At Charlotte Motor Speedway

The sparkly holiday light show returns to the Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday, Nov. 19 and will run through Sunday, Dec. 31.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- The 2017 NASCAR season is officially over, but the Charlotte Motor Speedway is far from dark this holiday season. The 8th annual Speedway Christmas light show is underway, featuring more than three million lights spread out over a 3.5 mile course, a Christmas Village, movies, a petting zoo, photos with Santa and more.

Speedway Christmas is open every night from Nov. 19 through Sunday, Dec. 31, and will be closed Christmas Day. The hours are 6 p.m. through 10 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per car Monday through Wednesday, $25 per car Thursday and Sunday, and $30 per car Friday and Saturday. Tickets may be purchased online here.

  • Nov. 23 - 26 - "Frosty's Winter Wonderland"
  • Nov. 30 - Dec. 3 - "Fred Claus"
  • Dec. 7 - 10 - "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"
  • Dec. 14 - 17 - "Elf"
  • Dec. 18 - 24 - "The Polar Express"
  • Dec. 28 - 30 - "Frozen"
