Job Openings In NC: There Are Plenty Of Employment Listings

NORTH CAROLINA — With record unemployment levels reaching new highs every week, but a good number of employers are searching for workers in North Carolina.

The employment site Indeed.com has listed scores of jobs that have opened even as the virus continues and many businesses remain closed.

You can search here for job openings in our area.

You'll note that some of the postings went up more than 30 days ago. But also notice that many of the jobs have been advertised within the past few days and weeks.

State labor officials urged all eligible North Carolina residents to file their unemployment claim online here.

During the state of emergency, the NC Department of Employment Security's Customer Call Center is available at 888-737-0259, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
