Knives Involved In West Mecklenburg High School Fight
A local elementary school was placed on lockdown after a large fight at the high school.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Knives were discovered after a fight broke out in the parking lot at West Mecklenburg High School Wednesday, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
The fight took place in the high school parking lot.
Nearby Tuckaseegee Elementary was also placed on lockdown as law enforcement responded and addressed the violence at the high school.

Two students were arrested for carrying knives and a third was arrested for assault, per police.
The school's principal alerted parents that no guns were discovered after the fight.
