Little League World Series: North Carolina Team Vies For Title
North State Little League from Greenville, N.C. is headed to Pennsylvania to play in the Little League Baseball World Series.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- After a rousing win over Georgia in the southeast regional tournament, a North Carolina little league baseball team has advanced in the playoffs to play in the 2017 Little League Baseball World Series running Aug. 17.
The 2017 Little League Baseball World Series for players 12 and younger will run Aug. 17-27 in South Williamsport, Penn. when teams from eight countries and eight U.S. regions vie for the title.
North State Little League from Greenville, N.C. won the 2017 Little League Baseball Southeast Regional tournament Aug. 9 with a 4-0 game record after they bested Peachtree City National Little League from Peachtree City, Ga., 8-6.
