Man Wanted For Possession of Stolen Vehicle On The Run: CMPD
Joshua Brandon Martin is wanted for possession of a motor vehicle. He cut off his monitor in Matthews Tuesday, Charlotte police said.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are asking for the community’s help locating a man wanted for possession of a stolen vehicle after cutting off his court-ordered electronic monitor, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
According to a police report, Joshua Brandon Martin, 24, cut off the monitor Tuesday that he was ordered by the courts to wear as a condition of pretrial release. He now also wanted on charges of damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Martin was last known to be in the area of 1600 Matthews Mint Hill Road in Matthews, CMPD said. He is described as 5 foot, 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

CMPD asks that anyone with information about his whereabouts contact the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3 or call 911.
