Man Wanted For Possession Of A Stolen Vehicle On The Run: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are searching for an 18-year-old man wanted for possessing a stolen vehicle after he cut off his court-ordered electronic monitoring device Monday.

Arthur Jauan Kirkpatrick, 18, was last known to be in the area of 3024 Central Avenue in Charlotte on June 24. He now also faces charges of damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

Kirkpatrick is described as 5-foot, 6-inches tall and 160 pounds.

CMPD said anyone with information on his whereabouts should immediately contact the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3 or call 911.
