Four Of Five Escaped NC Prisoners Apprehended: Report
The five prisoners, including two convicted sex offenders, were able to escape by cutting a hole in the detention center's fence.
NASH COUNTY, NC — Less than one day after a brazen jailbreak, four out of the five prisoners who escaped from a Nash County detention center by cutting a hole in a fence have been caught, according to authorities.
The group of escapees, which included two inmates who are registered sex offenders, fled the detention center located on Washington Street in Nashville, North Carolina shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, WNCN reported.
The inmates were identified as: Raheem Horne, 25; Laquaris Battle, 22; David Viverrette, 28; David Ruffin, 30 and Keonte Murphy, 23.

By Tuesday morning, the only inmate still at large was Battle, according to the Nash County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities focused their search for him in the Castalia, North Carolina, which is about 50 miles northwest of Raleigh. A $1,500 reward is offered for information leading to his capture.
