Missing Man ‘May Be In Danger,’ Police Say

Sam Davis, 25, was reported missing Tuesday, July 3. He was last seen carrying a skateboard with green wheels, police say.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating the disappearance of a 25-year-old Charlotte man who went missing July 3 and say he “may be in danger.”

Sam Davis was last seen leaving a home on Poplar Grove Drive in north Charlotte July 3, around 9 a.m. He was last seen carrying a mini skateboard with green wheels, which he uses for transportation, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police report.

“He missed important family events and is not contacting family members that he usually contacts,” CMPD said. “Mr. Davis is believed to be in danger due to statements made from family and friends.”

Davis is described as a while male with blue eyes and brown hair. He is about 5-foot, 11 inches tall.

CMPD asks that anyone with information regarding Davis’ location call 911 immediately, or Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
