Myers Park Students Exposed To ‘Irritant’ On Bus To School
Students on a bus headed to Myers Park High School were exposed to a dispersed irriant Wednesday morning, according to school officials.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Students on a Myers Park High School bus were exposed to a dispersed irritant that required medical assessment, according to a school official.
“This morning during arrival, an irritant was dispersed on Bus #24,” said the school’s assistant principal Kathryn Davis, WSOC reported.
"MEDIC and Charlotte Fire responded. Students were assessed and proper medical care was administered," she said.

“Any student who violated the Code of Student Conduct will be disciplined accordingly,” Davis said, adding, “Please, speak with your children about bringing inappropriate items to school.”
School officials have not said what the irritant was. This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
