This NC Duo Arrested After Loaded AK-47 Found Under Toddler’s Bed
An anonymous tip led police to the home, where drugs and a loaded assault rifle were found, according to a report.
FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Two people were arrested and charged after authorities located a stash of marijuana and a loaded AK-47 assault rifle under a 2-year-old’s bed in the Fayetteville home of a convicted felon, according to reports.
An anonymous tip to the local Crime Stoppers program led to the arrests and confiscation of a pound of marijuana from the home located in the 300 block of Suzanne Street, The Fayetteville Observer reported.
Sergio F. Weeks, 32, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, child abuse, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for narcotic use.

Alysha J. Smith, 25, was charged with child abuse, intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for narcotic use and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
