The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education will make a second round of appointments to the Community Equity Committee in early May. The committee serves as a thought partner to the Board and tracks progress on equity in our schools.

Under the process established in Policy ADAA, 20 nominees will be appointed. Each Board member and the student advisor will submit two nominees at the May 11 meeting of the Board. There are also three vacancies on the committee and the Board will fill those as well.
