Overturned Big Rig Snarls Tuesday Morning Traffic
A tractor trailer flipped on its side on I-485 in south Charlotte Tuesday morning, backing up traffic for miles.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- A tractor trailer flipped on Interstate 485 Tuesday morning, backing up commuters for miles, according to reports.
The tractor trailer overturned on I-485, blocking the onramp from Providence Road to the interstate and one lane of the I-485 inner loop, The Charlotte Observer reported. “Officials on scene said the driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries,” the newspaper said.
