Police Arrest Beer Bandit Wanted In Hit & Run Of Father, Son

One of the suspects still wanted in the hit-and-run case wore a distinctive jacket that said "No Fear" on the back, according to police.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police have arrested and charged three suspects they say are behind a hit-and-run of a man holding his four-year-old son in a Harris Teeter parking lot after stealing a case of beer from the store, leaving both father and son with serious injuries.

The April 17 incident occurred at the Harris Teeter located at 9720 Rea Road after a male suspect shoplifted a case of Bud Light beer, according to police. Surveillance footage from the store showed one suspect wearing a distinctive jacket emblazoned with “No Fear.”

“The suspect got into the passenger side of the grey 4-door Volkswagen Passat with a male driver,” police said, describing the chain of events. “The vehicle then fled the scene, striking a dad who was holding his 4-year-old son.”

The father, identified in media reports as 41-year-old Nathan Green, and little boy were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries. Green also suffered a skull fracture.

Community tips through Crime Stoppers helped Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police identify the suspects in the April 17 attack as Noah Llambia, 21; Isaiah Staley, 21; and Ralph Hall, 20.

Llambias turned himself into CMPD Wednesday and has been charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting serious injury, aiding and abetting larceny and hit and run/failure to remain at an accident with serious injury.

Staley has an outstanding warrant for leaving the scene of an accident with serious injury.

Hall is wanted for both leaving the scene of an accident with serious injury, as well as larceny, CMPD said.
