Police Ask For Help Identifying Taco Bell Armed Robbery Suspect

The suspect robbed a south Charlotte Taco Bell at gunpoint shortly after midnight on Aug. 6, CMPD said.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect they say robbed a south Charlotte Taco Bell at gunpoint last week.

According to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department report, the suspect robbed the restaurant located at 13121 South Tryon Street shortly after midnight on Aug. 6. After grabbing cash, he fled the scene “possibly in a silver SUV,” CMPD said.

The suspect is described as about 25 years-old, about 5-foot, 7-inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and dark shoes.
