Police Ask For Public’s Help Finding Armed Robberies Suspects
Police are searching for suspects they say are behind two weekend armed robberies in Charlotte. Have you seen these men?
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects wanted in connection to two armed robberies over the weekend.
The first armed robbery occurred around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, when a suspect, described as a black male around 25- to 30-years old, pulled a gun and demanded money at a 7-Eleven at 835 Clanton Road in west Charlotte. The suspect, who was wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans, grabbed the money and ran, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
One day later, a similar crime scene unfolded at the Subway at 7008 East W.T. Harris Boulevard in east Charlotte, when a suspect pulled a gun and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect grabbed a restaurant employee during the robbery, but she was unharmed. He is described as a black male, about 6-foot tall with a thin build and last seen wearing a striped shirt, dark hoodie and light colored pants.
